Pumpkin Farm

Well we decided to take a little trip to the pumpkin farm. We also decided to be naughty and take the girls out of school 2 hours early (which take my word for it we never do...) It was REALLY embarrassing when I saw Ashlynn's teacher in the office and she asked me where we were going (why I was taking Ashlynn out early) and I cant lie about anything so I told her we were going to the pumpkin farm.... I was pretty embarrassed, But Rick decided not to work overtime on Monday so we could go to the pumpkin farm with our friends the Johnsons.
The pumpkin farm is only like 10 min. away but I took some pictures because I thought it was so pretty.

Politics Schmolotics....

This election season I am having a particularly hard time deciding who and what to vote for.... In my voters pamphlet (more like a book) there are at least 12 measures.... I am having a hard time on some of them. And then there are some people who I am just not sure which I would choose... I feel as though I am having to choose the lesser of two evils. Am I the only one who feels this way? Don't get me wrong I feel it is a duty and a privilege to vote... But sometimes it is hard to choose. And I know that one thing is for sure I cant wait for all these negative commercials to be over with.

So I went to the store to get somethig for dinner and while I was there I guess I picked up a few of my favorite goodies..... Do you have a favorite treat? What is your weakness?

PS. No I did not eat ALL this in one night it took me a few nights to finish it all. LOL

Ghost cookies

We made these for our Halloween party tomorrow night at my Sister in-laws. I think they turned out cute. And the kids enjoyed making them alot.

p.s. this is MY hair, not my kids hair.....

I have been wanting to get my hair cut now for like three months.... So today in between conference sessions, I just made a split second decision to chop it off. For any of you who know me well, know that this is not the first time I have done this.... But at least this time it was just my hair I did it with, not my girls hair too..... So I will be posting some new pics of my new hair do soon.

Sick baby

We have had a sick little one all week... And now the little one has started feeling better and her parents are the ones feeling icky....

Lindsay just wanted to cuddle last night, and she only wanted to cuddle her Mommy. This is not very normal for her. She is not a very cuddly baby, she is a bouncy mover and shaker.... So when she just wanted to lay her head on Mommys shoulder I knew she wasnt feeling well at all. :(
