Movies at the park

We went to watch Sound of music at one of the parks in Portland last night. And as a special guest they had the actress Charmian Carr who played Liesl the oldest daughter in the movie. (the I am 16 going on 17 girl). We had a great time! It was alot of fun but very very cold!!! Isabella went up and got her autograph. They also had face painting and a rock wall for the kids to climb amoung some other stuff.

Back to school PARTY!!!

We had a great time. We started the night by going to the park, then we came home and ate dinner and went swimming at the pool. Then I gave the girls all "pedicures" while we watched Cinderella Story with Chad Micheal Murry in it (who I was told is a "hottie"!!!) And we ate lots of junk food and sugar and drank lots of soda while we were watching it. It was a fun night! Ashlynn was the first asleep she crashed right away. I hope my nieces and daughters enjoyed their last summer sleepover hurrah!

More pictures from camping

Here are some more pictures from our camping trip. We had a great time and we loved the area. We are sure to go there again! Great job picking a spot to camp Net!

Date night with a baby....

Well I told you all I would post about that night (sat.) and it has kinda been a little bit busy around here. So I am a little late at getting it done.
Well Friday Rick had told me that on Sat. night he was going to take me out on a date. I mentioned to him that I didnt have any clothes to wear (that werent maternity) and so we went shopping and bought me a new pair of pants, shorts and 3 new tops!!! Woohoo!!! I was so excited! It is amazing what buying a new outfit will do for someones morale. :) So I finally had clothes to wear that didnt make me feel like I was still pregnant. Rick did some looking for a good place to go eat. I was so looking forward to finally having a date with my hubby!! (& Lindsay of course) And we got to where he had decided to take us and found out that it was one of those places that was only open until like 7 or so....
So we instead settled for Olive Garden (the closest thing to where we were) And found out there was a 30 min. wait. Which was fine I just spent the 30 min. feeding Lindsay (to assure that when we were seated she would remain Fast ASLEEP and FULL) So we were sat and as if on cue she started screaming!!! Inconsolably crying!

So here is how it went... Rick took her out first, so I ordered the food for us. Then he came back and she started screaming again, so I took her out while he ate his salad....
All the people outside and in the Lobby were commenting on how adorable she was... Then I came back in and he took her out while I ate my soup.. Then I took her out while he ate his half of the smoked cheese with bread appetizer. Then he took her out while I ate my half of the appetizer...
Then our meal arrived. He had the endless bowl of pasta and I had the Chicken Marsala...
I took her out so he could eat his pasta... Meanwhile EVERYONE around us and out in the lobby and outside are all giggling at us. ANd pointing to this little baby who is having the time of her life keeping her parents on hteir toes!!!
At this point I remember looking from outside in to where Rick was sitting all by himself eating his meal while I was outside wishing that I could be sitting next to him talking to him like I had pictured this night going. So I went back in and he took her out and I ate my meal... My appetizer and my meal I ate both cold...
By the time I finally got done eating my meal everyone around us was gone.
The highlight of my evening was when our waiter asked us if we would like dessert... I looked up at him and saw his smile... That was a good laugh.
So the moral of this story is dont have expectations of having any conversations with your husband when you are taking a newborn to a restraunt. Better yet dont have any expectations of even being able to sit at the table with your husband!!! :)
But it was a fun night anyways. We were able to laugh about it when we got in the car on the way home.

CAMPING

WARNING LONG POST AHEAD!!!!!!!!!
Alright so I feel I have alot to catch up on...
We will start with Thursday... Thursday morning the girls were ready to go up camping with their Aunt Net and Brian & Amy. SO they went up Thursday morning with them and then Rick and I got ready and left after he was done with work Thursday night. So we got there (to a campsite near Tillamook) around 8. We set up, and ate and went to bed. Rick had to be up at 5 so he could get home and shower and be to work by 7, so we tried to get some sleep (very unsuccessfully) we woke at 5:30 and realized that from our lack of good sleep all night we slept through his alarm! He got up and rushed out to the car and then came back and let me know that someone had been in our car (that we forgot to lock) they stole our GPS system that we havent had for very long at all (I think around 5-6 months). Then he left to go to work.
A little bit later Net came over and let us know that her camera was stolen out of her van as well. (later we realized that Taura's Ipod speakers were stolen as well) So frustrating!!!
So we waited until the Sheriff could come so we could file a report. Then we crammed 13 people in Net's van which only had 13 seats in it (one seat was out) and after a rough night and morning we were so very much looking forward to going to the Tillamook cheese factory and eating some very yummy icecream... Well we finally crammed in and buckled up and then sat in anticipation only to find that the Van wouldnt start!!! So Net got under the van with a wrench and hit the starter (after looking for a few min. to find it...) Poor Net I was standing out there trying to figure out how I could help and I made the comment that I needed a camera to take a picture of this. And low and behold Taura had her camera and so I snapped a picture or two and realized what the scene reminded me of... The wizard of OZ, and the witch's legs are stick out from under the house. It was pretty funny. Well then "we" (by that I mean Net) got the van started and were off to Tillamook.
it was pretty exciting.
Then a little bit later I found out that Rick, who was supposed to have Sat off was going to have to work SAt after all. So we decided to pack up and leave Friday night. So it was a really quick trip. But we did have alot of fun, with the family.
Net brought Bella back with her on Sat. I will post another post in a little bit telling you about our adventures from last night. But right now I have to change and feed my baby.
Here are some pics from the Tillamook Icecream factory.

I took this picture because I love the way she still tucks her feet in underneath her.

These other pics are from when Net and her kids came over on Saturday and made Amber and Garys recipe for sweet and sour chicken. (very yummy thanks Amber)and we also went swimming. It was really hot that day so we thought Lindsay would enjoy it.... Nope it lasted about a minute or two and we gave up.

Lindsay pictures

Here are some recent pics of Linds she is getting big. She is starting to smile alot more. It has been so fun. She is looking like she is going to have reddish hair. (Little more reddish than her Moms) She was born with dark hair but it is looking more red now. Everyday is so fun with her! Her sisters are getting ready to go back to school in a few weeks and they are already wondering how they are going to make it through a whole day at school without seeing their baby sister... I wonder how long that is going to last??? :) Any ways it is so great to see them love her so much. What a blessing!

Fun at the park

This is a newer park that we found. It was so fun sitting in those bucket things. They spin so flipping fast and you really dont need anyone to push you. I got so dizzy. The round thing that Rick is pushing the girls on is a new kind of merry go round. It was alot of fun.

Ward Luau

Our ward had a Luau that turned out fun. Ashlynn had a blast playing with her friends and the girls enjoyed climbing the Rock wall. Here are some pictures.
