Saying Goodbye

Grandma wanted to read some books to Lindsay before I put her to sleep (the night before we left). Lindsay loved this book she and grandma BOTH were giggly while reading it.

The Morning right when we were leaving.

Sandy, I can't imagine the intense feelings you have regarding going home and spending time with your parents. It is so nice to see the pictures of them. There is so much love in your family. Your parents are choice people. I remember back 23 years ago when I was at your home after the Summer's reunion and your parents had to tell me about the stroke my mom had suffered during the night. Your parents were there to comfort me. I will never forget their love and kindness to me at such a time of uncertainty. You are a choice daughter and they love you and it is clear how much you love them. Isn't it great to have recognized their value in your life while you can still have opportunities to build memories and show them your love. My thoughts and prayers are with all of you for only the best to come of the struggles you are faced with at this time.
