ALright well I havent posted any pics of my girls in a while (for you Mom). Ok and for me too.... So here are some pictures. I will do a longer post tomorrow hopefully. Tonight I am just too tired to do much. But there is a challenge that I wanted to participate in so I will do that tomorrow. In the mean time here are some pics...

I LOVE this picture! This picture was taken one night when Ashlynn was missing her sissy (Bella was in Idaho with Grandma and Grandpa) So anyways Ashlynn was really missing her sister and was pretty sad that night and I went into to check on her and this is what I found... SO SWEET what a great Daddy she has.

Remembering this day seven years ago

I remember that after that morning my 2 daughters slept in my room on our bedroom floor for almost a week, I dont think it was really because I feared something happening to them or us, it was just a time of uncertainty. The world as I knew it had changed and never would be the same again! I was glued to the television and I remember calling all my family (my parents and siblings etc. knowing they were no where near New York), but still needing to hear their voices none the less.

Here are some pics that I took of Lindsay today during her tummy time. She is really getting strong! she lifts her head and shoulders all the way off the blanket.

Kids say the funniest things

I have been meaning to mention these now for a week or so now, and I just keep forgetting. So the other day when I was sitting on the couch talking to Rick and Ashlynn and folding laundry Ashlynn interrupts Rick and I and said "Mom are you having another baby?" I said no why? She said "oh it just looks like you have another baby in your tummy" it was "cute" And then she proceeded to tel me that she wants me to have "lots and lots of babies... A whole house filled with babies!!!" I am so glad that she loves her sister so much. And I am glad that her and Bella get along good.
So here is another conversation that I had with Ashlynn, but first I need to explain. So on this night Bella had been invited over to a friends house for the day. And Ashlynn always feels upset that Bella has so many friends to visit and Ashlynn doesn't. So what I try to do is I try to make sure I plan some sort of special time with Ashlynn while Bella is at her friends, I have found it usually takes the focus off the the negative and gives Ashlynn something positive to focus on. So this particular day I took Ashlynn to Baskin Robins after lunch for an ice cream cone and then at dinner time I took her to Mcdonalds for a happy meal... And I felt I had done good at keeping Ashlynn pre-occupied but then...

It came time to go pick Bella up from her friends house and as usual she was asking why "Bella always get to go play at her friends houses"? I tried to explain it just like I always explain it and I could hear Ashlynn crying quietly in the back of the car... And so I asked Ashlynn whats wrong? And she said "nothings wrong... I am just happy... like other womans that cry when they are just happy"!!! It made me feel so sad for her. :( This is one of those cute things that I will want to remember.
